Overview

Computer Science with Cybersecurity is a specialized field that combines the principles and practices of computer science with a focus on protecting digital systems, networks and data from unauthorized access, attacks, and threats. This interdisciplinary field addresses the increasing need for cybersecurity professionals who can develop secure systems, analyze and respond to security incidents, and implement measures to safeguard information.

Computer Science with Cybersecurity would typically provide a comprehensive curriculum that covers both computer science fundamentals and specialized cybersecurity topics. Students would gain a strong foundation in programming, algorithms, data structures, computer networks, operating systems, and databases, which are essential for understanding the core principles of computer science.

Programme Educational Objectives

The Curriculum is designed to attain the following learning goals which students shall accomplish by the time of their graduation:

  • To have a strong foundation of computer science principles which will provide a promising professional career in real world industry.
